We should let them know

The Conservative Party Website

In the latest town crier, a three page spread on the pedestrian heart.

We can show our displeasure at the celebrations by attending complete with black arm bands, after all this work has detroyed what was an unique Market Town, black arm bands show that we are mourning its passing and lets those in power know our true feelings.

Back again

After the election campaign in which the company I work for were excellent allowing me to run and take time off, I felt I should repay them so I have been catching up on paperwork, health & safety tours etc, but now I am back again.

Listening to radio 4 this morning I was aghast to hear a news item suggesting we should all become vegans, what a horrible thought.

There is a place for all of Gods creatures

A thought occured to me

The Conservative Party Website

A rumour is doing the rounds, that our ever absent MP Alan Milburn is going to the Lords. Apart from this being the best ever advert for a fully elected upper house, it could explain his multitude of consultative positions, after all the way that New Labour do peerages, they do have to be paid for don't they.

The price of principals

The Conservative Party Website

Milburns onto another few pennies, this time from Pepsico.

This is the same Alan Milburn that shortly after his resignation as health secretary said in Oxford "that the greatest threat facing world health was chronic illness caused by processed foods such as crisps and fizzy drinks". " remove crisps and fizzy drinks from schools".

Aren't Pepsico a world leader in making urm, oh crisps and fizzy drinks.

The price of Milburns principals run at £25000 per year.

Get me a bucket

The affront of Blair is quite shocking, his resignation speech was sheer snake oil salesman.

"I did what I thought was right" I felt physically sick.

"In our innermost thoughts we know this is the greatest country in the world" but he was and is willing to sell us out to the EU.

To top it off he apologised for the things he got wrong.

This man is as guilty as a puppy sitting next to a pile of pooh.

The whole speech was degrading to the people of this Nation.

A BIG THANK YOU

The Conservative Party Website

A big thank you to Pierremont residents, we ran the buggers close, we are of course sorry that those residents are lumbered once again with 2 Labour councillors, one of whoms only concern was to be Mayor.

We worked our socks off but didn't quite make it.

How do you turn over a 15% margin, we worked as a team, we personally knocked on every door within the Pierremont ward as we made a decision that the residents deserved to see a candidate not a party worker, we used modern tecnology (internet) and came within a gnats whisker.

Tim and myself are incredibly proud of Kates win and know that we could not do any more, a 15% swing is an incredible achievement in its own right.

It is possible to overturn and get big swings, if you have the right people, doing the right things.

But it has not finished for Tim and myself we will be there to support Kate in her work for Pierremont and of course Friends of the Denes, we left well alone during the campaign so as not to turn it political, Tim and myself no longer have those concerns and the "friends" needs doers not talkers.
